Hammer Software has officially announced a new game that will be coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in 2019.
The studio says that the game will be titled Hammer and its story will follow the story of the classic horror title, Hammer Horror, as the player is a serial killer who murders women and children.
The game will have “unusual story elements,” such as a supernatural entity, and will take place in the “horror-infested” suburbs of New York City.
The game is being developed by Hammer’s lead programmer, David Meegan, who also has a previous title working on the Doom franchise.
Hammer says the game is slated to be released sometime in 2019, but there are no firm plans at the moment to bring the game to other platforms.
There’s no word on when the game might be released to other consoles.
The publisher also hasn’t announced the price of the game, but a previous teaser image suggested it could cost as little as $14.99.
It’s possible that the developer is simply teasing the game for a limited time, as Hammer has previously teased the game’s release.
