Software updates are often touted as a new and revolutionary technology, but they can sometimes be downright nasty.
Here are a few tips to keep your device up to date.
Open the app drawer in the taskbar, then scroll to the bottom of the screen.
This will bring up a menu where you can install and uninstall apps, or clear the cache of apps that you have installed.
If you’re using a Chromebook, navigate to the Settings app and tap “Software updates”.
Tap the software update icon in the top-right corner.
Tap Install now.
If that fails, check your software update settings, and you should see the update now available.
